    Dr. Pepper Updates...Carnage 11_9_2012...new motor page 4

    Figured I'd make a new thread since the old one is multiple pages. If you wanna see the original build thread click here.

    A few weeks ago I decided to take my dominator to Dan Davinici to do some upgrades and get it to flow some more air capable of supporting my motor. He put in different boosters, polished the main body and venturis and polished the butterflies. Along with some other things I'm sure.

    He brought it to me at the track and helped put it on and set the idle.

    The car really likes the cool weather. This pass was with Brent's Pro-systems dominator just before we swapped on my dominator. We need to lean mine down on the main jets to pick up the MPH like I had on Brent's carb, but my carb went .04 better to the sixty foot mark!



    Race Weight was 2913 lbs according to the scales at HMP.

    Now how the motor sits...

    Pulled the heads/intake off on Sunday to take to SAM Racing for a little porting magic to be done. Judson up at SAM claims he can get me 30 horsepower out of the heads, maybe more with the intake too.

    Got the heads and intake back from SAM.

    Forgot to grab the flow sheets before I left for work, but here are some pics...

    Intake now flows 334@.800 lift and 324@.700.
    Exhaust flows 234@.700, he didn't flow them since he didn't do any real work to the exhaust other than a valve job. The 234 is from my buddies bench SF600.

    First is a standard 4500 gasket, my fingertip is there to show that I'm going to have to cut the gasket because the intake is bigger!
