No it was in Forney. State Trooper owned it.
Finally got it off of the trailer and had a little time to look it over a little better this afternoon. Already hass:
Full Aeromotive fuel system, need some rubber mounts to quiet it down some:
Aluminum driveshaft:
Strange thing is it had a lower torque reinforcement on the pass side:
But on the drivers side there was no plate, just holes where it used to be:
It also has some sub-frame connectors that appear to be homemade, that I will probably be pulling off, to put some better ones on.
It also has 4.10 gears (too much). When I bought it, the guy had just spend $600 going through the rear end. All new bearings, seals etc. Also told me that while he had it in the shop the mechanic told him he had a "fancy racing posi unit". I tried to probe him for more info, but he didn't know exactly what it has. I need to pull the cover off and see exactly whats in there. I also want to drop down to probably 3.73 gears. The 4.10 gears are just too much for street driving.
I pulled the the seats and carpet out today. It does have a Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter in it. The bad news is I found a mess with the subframes:

I did end up finding that it has an adjustable clutch quadrant, the Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, and Looks like maybe an Auburn Diff with 4.10 gears. Also got all the window tint scraped off because it was turning purple. I'm kind liking the no tint look, nice and clean.

The torque box reinforcement looks pretty ghetto, too. I'd clean that all off, get some primer on it, new reinforcements, new SFC's, fix the floor pants, hrmph. Maybe you should take it to a welder :-) I would have to, as I have no welding abilities, nor equipmentMake sure all that rust gets scraped off prior to covering those areas back up.

2005 Toyota Matrix (wife's commuter)
The torque box reinforcements look about like any other ones out there, but really rusty. Probably from the holes in the floor pan from the SFC's. l Ordered a Wild Rides Torque Box reinforcement kit today. Probably going to go ahead and order floor pans tomorrow. Going SFC's on there now pulled off, new pans welded in and go from there.
The only other thing I was thinking was if I could find a set of through floor SFC's that are wider than 2", because I could fill the gap that's there.
Anyone know the paint code for that color??
So I got me another stang lol 01 GT VERT
Powder coated Blue oval in sig. Is for sale
