Texas Flying Legends Museum at Ellington Field - Sun. May 18
Our good friends at the Saleen Club of America (Texas division) put together a very cool opportunity for folks to mingle with a few awesome P51 Mustangs. The club with highest attendance will receive a special award, so don't forget to mention WSM!
WHERE: Texas Flying Legends Museum (Ellington Field)
WHEN: Sunday, May 18 8am - noon
REGISTRATION: $45 per car (Paypal us by May 14 at TexasStateRep@SaleenClubOfAmerica.com)
WHAT YOU GET: Breakfast, museum entry, and professional photography of your Stang with the P51s!
There will be a cruise to Seabrook for lunch afterwards, followed by a cruise to the coast. This is a rare opportunity so grab it while spaces are still available.

This will be a great and rare opportunity to get your car photographed with THREE P-51 Mustangs! We'd love everyone to come out and take advantage of this once in a lifetime event. The price is per car, not per person, so please bring family and friends along to share in the fun. We in the Saleen club got the privilege of just touring the Texas Legends Museum a couple months ago and it is phenomenal place. We were invited back to bring as many Mustangs as we wanted, as they'd never done a photoshoot with Mustang clubs before. They are just as excited about this pairing of aviation and automobiles as we are! A portion of the proceeds goes to support the museum. If there's enough interest from the west side, we can plan a cruise to Ellington Field.
Sounds like it should be a blast!

trying to get a guy at work to go. this is sunday, and there is a carshow saturday, this is separate?
can one attend if not a wsm member?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you have to be associated with one of the clubs attending. There are other clubs attending besides WSM. Northside Mustang Car Club and Mustang Club of Houston to name a couple. There are other club logos on the flyer.
If you are posting on this forum, then you are a registered member of WSM. We do not have membership dues as other clubs do.

I'm going to try and change my travel plans for this. With a bit of luck I'll be back in town for one day to do this... fingers crossed.

That's my daughters birthday, so don't think I can make it. Unless someone else wants to go that is somewhat familiar with my car and wants to take it for the show on a trailer and get the pictures for me lol. The race car, not the 2014.
