well after having the car down and collecting dust and dirt for the past 8 months I decided to have a full paint correction done this past weekend. I dropped the car off with Brian Brooks at Genuine Auto Detail and let him do his thing, the results are amazing what can happen to some old paint!

a lot of the little fine scratches were removed and it really brought the shine back, almost looks like a different color now especially when the sun hits it.

after having the car detailed and polished up it really made the exterior trim look like shit lol. I bought some of the SEM exterior black and decided to pull everything off the outside and get it restored as it should be. During the process I did figure out that window clip tool they sell sucks balls, just stick to a long 90* pick and it works like a champ!

I forgot to take any before pictures of how faded the trim looked but this pic you can see the drivers door how grey and faded it looks, I plan on tackling the doors this week sometime

Well after getting the front and rear window trim completed I never did get a chance to do the doors last week. I took the car for a drive Sunday then to work once during the week and the upper control arm bushings are now non existent after making the turn into the neighborhood.

Luckily I had already bought upper and lower control arms back in the summer but hadn't installed them so that was this weekends project.

I never did think to take pictures of the Steeda HD upper control arms I used but here is whats left of one of the upper bushings. I will say if you ever have to remove the bushings with the rear diff still in the car the Maximum Motorsports bushing tool makes life SO much easier as well!!!

After getting the uppers and lowers completed I adjusted the ride height in the rear and its sitting pretty now!

Very nice! I have the same lowers. Sure makes it easy to adjust the height!
