Damn and when that mid 90's powerstroke DIES it will cost him and arm and a leg to fix. But if that is what he wants then more power to him. He will regret letting the SSP go as it is getting harder to find those. I know the powerstroke is a cool engine and truck that it is in but what is the need with that truck? Fuel economy can be better and worse as well as cheaper and way more expensive than gas at times. I would feel very privileged to have a Mustang and a Truck at 16. I know I kick myself for selling some of the Mustangs that I have had over the years.

    DON'T DO IT @TRENTMONSTER!

Your the parent put the kabosh on that idea. He won't be able to afford the truck. The mustang and truck he can afford to drive and fix.

Power strokes aren't cheap to own. And those mid nineties trucks are over 20 years old with a ton of miles. They run a long time but when they break they break hard. I have spent 2500ish bucks on just the parts to keep mine on the road in the last 3 months. The first chance I get I'm selling it and going back to gasoline.
