Funny boy............. I can get enough tire under this thing to tear the current rearend up well enough without tubbing it. I want some 1.5-1.4 sec 60' times.

Who knows. I think I know what a drug addict feels like when it comes to modifing cars, "I just can't help myself". I'm already looking at tranny mods and I haven't even got the rearend yet. My wife's statement about, "why did we buy a new car with a warranty", keeps playing over and over in my head, LOL. The 2013 model desire is fading fast. They seems to be never good enough, just stock.

The thing about the 2013 is that it's really just a modded variation of what has come before and what anybody can do themselves, but with a warranty.

How much did it cost you? And did you order it straight from strange?

It was around $ 3500 with the upgrades I ordered. Things like powdercoating, the new thru- bolt aluminum carrier, chrome moly yolk, S-trac dif, etc, etc. It's suppose to be a true bolt-in piece. I ordered it direct from Strange. It didn't sound like they give many people much of a discount when I checked into it.

I, hopefully, would only be able to use the traction control on the street. I plan to run enough slick on the car to hook at the track (I may have to buy some bigger ones, we'll see). The new wheels and tires that I bought from Tom are doing a fairly good job of hooking on the street. Enough to help make the stock rearend complain. Twin turbos, maybe if I wasn't working on Babywoop, also. But probably not. I like to be able to cruise around in this one. I just want a car I can hammer on without breaking stuff.
